As the night unfolds in reverse for the audience, each time we jump earlier, someone “wakes” with the memory of having just died. Roland is quietly orchestrating poetic-justice kills tied to past humiliations, then manually dialing a hacked watch to step the party backward—erasing evidence while leaving trauma intact. The group scrambles to decode the pattern, protect the next “awake” target, and even tries a no-kill rescue, but Roland stays a step ahead, culminating in a final window where Priya’s desperate gambit turns into his cruelest trap.
