synopsis

Seventeen-year-old Silver feels his future collapsing—he loses the quarterback spot he’s worked years for, his father’s absence hangs over him like a shadow, and the weight of unspoken despair grows heavier every day. When his best friends—Biggen, MC, and Dumas—plan a cross‑country trip to California’s Bixby Bridge, Silver goes along, quietly intending to end his life in a staged ā€œaccidentā€ during their dream bungee jump.
The road becomes its own unexpected teacher. The boys hustle for gas money, survive disasters, cross paths with strangers who show them surprising kindness, and even find sparks of first romance. The chaotic, beautiful ride carves genuine joy into Silver’s armor—but he keeps his sabotaged rope hidden.
When Biggen unknowingly chooses that rope for his own jump, Silver sprints to stop him, finally admitting he wants to live. The leap that follows becomes a shared, life‑altering rebirth for all four boys.
