Gehenna

Lily suffers from a condition that plagues her with uncontrollable, debilitating hallucinations, and is nearly incapable of functioning in society. And so she is taken care of by her loving and self sacrificial mother, whose presence always provides a pleasant and de-escalating effect to her symptoms. Her condition only worsens as her and her mother scramble to do whatever it takes to cure her. After discovering her father’s journals, she begins to uncover the truth behind his disappearance and how it connects to her affliction. With her demented hallucinations progressing from auditory to visual to physical, she realizes her illness could be much more than a disorder. Is it a tug of war between the divine and the devil? Or is it all in her mind?
